Could stress be good for us?

With April as Stress Awareness Month, we wanted to share this incredible idea that stress could be good for us.

Whether we like it or not, stress plays a big part in our daily lives.  Factors that our ancestors didn't have to deal with can be overwhelming; rising energy bills, modern parenting, relationships, expectations driven by social media, work demands spilling over into our free time - the list goes on. 

A little bit of stress is inevitable, in fact, sometimes it can be a good thing.

You see, stress can assist you in reaching (and smashing) your goals, it gives you the impetus to work through the to do list, gives you a sense of urgency in getting tasks done, and therefore the motivation to face your challenges head on.

It sounds strange to say it, but good stress is vital for a healthy life.
